The Changi Airport logistics zone Open 24/7, the Changi Free Trade Zone handles all types of cargo trans-shipments, consolidation, and deconsolidation in an environment that benefits from simplified customs formalities. The entire area is protected and controlled by the airport pass system.
The nine airfreight terminals (AFTs) in the Changi Airfreight Centre have a combined handling capacity of 3 million ton of cargo per year, operated by two ground handling agents – SATS and Changi International Airport Services (CIAS). These terminals are equipped with a state-of-the art handling system to ensure that cargo is processed efficiently.
Offices and storage spaces The freight zone comprises four Cargo Agent Buildings C, D, E and Megaplex, spanning 125,000 sq. meters of warehouse and office space. Within a few hours, this infrastructure enables export cargo to be sorted, packed, and loaded onto aircraft smoothly, and import cargo to be collected, broken down and cleared through Customs. This results in shorter waiting time while reducing traffic congestion, in particular thanks to its dual access for trucks and for pallet carriers.
SIFA Asia looks forward to welcoming you to this privileged space for your exchanges.
