With your consent, SIFA may install various cookies on your terminal when you connect to the Website. To ensure transparency with respect to the personal data we collect and process on your behalf, we would like to explain our cookie policy and describe what cookies are, what types of cookies we use, for what purpose, and how we manage these cookies.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on a terminal’s hard drive or storage system (computer, tablet, smartphone, Internet-connected video game console, or other) of an Internet user when connecting to a website or advertisement, reading e-mail, or installing or using a mobile application, regardless of the type of terminal used.

What cookies are used?

We use cookies for various reasons. The table below provides more details about the purposes of the cookies we use:

Our commitments

SIFA uses the same open source solution as that used by the CNIL, tarteaucitron.js, to respect your right for withdrawing consent. This solution is hosted on our servers and is updated regularly by our teams.

As a general rule, SIFA respects all legally imposed requirements regarding cookies. Thus, a banner is displayed when you navigate to our Website informing you about the purpose of cookies, asking for your consent to install cookies, and explaining how to configure cookies.

The banner remains displayed until you continue your navigation, that is, until you move to another page on our Website or click on some element on the page, such as an image, link, button, or search.

The banner informs you that the act of continuing to browse the site is construed as your consent and allows cookies to be placed on your device.

The maximum duration of validity for cookie placement consent is 13 months. After 13 months, your consent must be given again.

As such, our cookies have a maximum lifetime of 13 months after the first cookie placement on your terminal.

In order to respect your privacy, we would like to reassure you that the simple act of landing on our Website (for example, the home page or directly to another page on the Website via a search engine) and not continuing navigation, does not constitute consent or lead to the installation of any cookies.

Similarly, simply clicking on the link provided in the cookie banner to configure cookies for your terminal, and as appropriate, refuse to allow cookies to be installed, does not constitute consent or lead to the installation of any cookies.

No cookies are installed on your terminal unless you grant your consent. Refusing to grant consent does not prevent access to the SIFA Website.

Attention: some cookies are not covered by an obligation to obtain consent, namely:

  • Cookies for a “shopping cart” on an online store
  • Session identification cookies, which are used for the duration of the session, or persistent cookies that are limited to a few hours in some cases
  • Authentication cookies
  • Session cookies created by a multimedia player
  • Session cookies used for load balancing
  • Some analytics solutions
  • Persistent cookies for user interface personalization (language and presentation options)

Other cookies are only installed with your consent. By continuing to navigate on our site, or by using site features, you agree to the use of those cookies. You may also exercise your rights or withdraw your consent here:
